Dew Drop Inn Motel

Smack dab in the heart of pheasant country, we at the Dew Drop Inn Motel in Miller South Dakota are witness to some of the most amazing upland gamebird wingshooting anywhere in the world, including ringneck pheasant, hungarian partridge, dove, prairie chicken and sharptail grouse,  There are numerous hunting lodges scattered around Hand County and the surrounding areas.

Hand county has nearly 7,000 acres of public and private land available for hunting.  At the junction of four major flyways the Miller South Dakota area is a haven for ducks and geese and a great choice for waterfoul hunters and birdwatchers.   

There is an abundance of deer, both muledeer and whitetail, and for varmit hunters we have coyote, fox, racoon, muskrat and praire dog, not to mention some of the most incredible sunrises and sunsets on record.

Lake Louise, Jones Lake and Camp Dakota offer excellent local fishing, supporting largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, walleye, perch, northern pike, rainbow trout, bullhead and catfish. 

Just 15 minutes northwest of Miller, Lake Louise Recreation Area supports picnicking, fishing, swimming, camping, hiking and boating.
